Open and page through photos
Open any photo large in the viewer with a click, and flick through the rest with the arrow keys.
Click a tile in the grid, or press Space or Enter on the highlighted one, and the photo grows out of its tile into the viewer.
Paging
←and→go to the previous and next photo in the grid. Hold the key to flick through quickly; full-resolution images load once you stop.- The counter at the top left says where you are, for example 3/128, followed by the file name.
- The grid behind follows along, so when you close the viewer the highlight is on the photo you were last looking at.
The viewer pages through a fixed copy of the list it was opened on, so a background reload of the grid cannot reorder it under you. A photo you trash or hide leaves the viewer at once and the next one takes its place.
Closing
Press Space, Enter or Esc, click the ✕ in the top-right corner, or click the photo while it is not zoomed in.
Videos
A video plays in the viewer; click the picture to pause or play it. See Playing videos and, for trimming, Trimming a video.
Right-click
Right-click anywhere to open the photo menu for the photo on screen — never for the selection, even when one exists.
