Viewer and slideshow defaults
Choose how the viewer opens — info card, album and tag chips, edge to edge — and the timing, transition, shuffle and loop every new slideshow starts with.
The Appearance pane holds the app's display defaults.
Overlays
- Show CPU overlay and Show GPU overlay — small live graphs of how busy the processor and graphics card are, in the bottom-right corner of the main window.
The viewer
These are the same settings the viewer's keys change, so a key and the switch always agree:
- Viewer: image info overlay (I) — open the viewer with the info card up.
- Viewer: album chips (O) and Viewer: tag chips (P) — show the photo's albums and tags as chips.
- Viewer: edge-to-edge fit (F) — fill the window rather than float the photo as a card.
Slideshows
The defaults a new slideshow starts with:
- Seconds per image — 3s, 5s, 10s or 20s;
- Transition — Cut, Crossfade or Ken Burns;
- Shuffle;
- Loop — off shows a "finished" card at the end.
Videos play inline for up to 30 seconds, then the show moves on. The bar at the bottom of a running slideshow edits the same settings. See Slideshows.
