Slideshow speed, shuffle and loop
Pause, skip, shuffle or loop a slideshow, and change how long each photo stays and whether it fills the screen, from the bar along its foot.
The bar at the bottom of a running slideshow appears when you move the mouse. From left to right:
- Previous, Play or Pause, and Next. The 3D formats move continuously, so they have no previous and next.
- The position, such as 12 / 140, and the name of what is playing.
- How long each photo stays: 3s, 5s, 10s or 20s. For Photowall and Space a speed slider takes their place, from a quarter of the normal speed to three times it.
- Shuffle on or off.
- Loop, or Stop at the end.
- For the flat show, a fit button: The whole photo, or Filling the screen, cropped to the anchor — the photo fills the screen and is cropped around its anchor. For Photowall and Space, a settings button opens their settings instead.
- The look chip, which cycles through Cut, Crossfade, Ken Burns, Photowall and Space. See Looks.
- Close.
Everything on the bar is remembered and becomes the default for the next slideshow. On a narrow window the interval chips and the title drop out first, so the play controls always fit.
