Select several photos
Select photos with a click or a key, gather them from several albums and dates into one selection, and act on all of them at once.
Most actions work on the selection when there is one, and on the highlighted photo when there is not.
Selecting with the mouse
Every tile has a circle in its top-right corner, shown when you hover the tile. Click the circle to select or deselect that photo. Shift+click a circle to select everything from the last photo you selected to this one.

The selection tray
While anything is selected, a tray at the bottom of the window shows the selected photos as small thumbnails. Hover one and click its ✕ to take it out of the selection. The ⋮ button opens the photo menu for the whole selection.
The top bar shows N selected with an ✕ that clears it.
A selection outlives the view
The selection stays when you move to another album, tag or date, so you can gather photos from several places and then act on all of them. The viewer has the same circle in its top-right corner, so you can select photos while you look through them.
