Multi screen window shortcuts
Keyboard shortcuts for the full-screen windows Multi screen opens on your other displays: close one, fit the photo to the screen, or leave full screen.
A screen window is a mirror, not a viewer, and it has no verbs of its
own. It shows its screen's mode, chosen on Settings > Screens: Live
is whatever is highlighted in the grid, open in the viewer or
highlighted in the comparer; Static is the photo pinned with F2 or
Insert; a Slot is one cell of the comparer; Stats is a sheet about
the photo. Videos show their poster frame.
Settings > Screens > Styling sets how every screen draws its photo:
Fit to screen (edge to edge, or framed like the viewer's card), Fade
between pictures, a Background (black, the photo blurred, or a
gradient tinted by it) and a film Grain over it. Pick a screen's box
there to give it styling of its own; the x on its box puts it back
on the defaults. F in a screen window flips Fit to screen for that
screen only, and its box on Setup shows the palette mark.
Multi screen opens one fullscreen on every enlisted monitor (with
none enlisted, every monitor but the main one), and Esc closes
only the one it is pressed in. With one monitor it opens as a window
you can drag across and fullscreen with F11. Settings > Screens
chooses the monitors: click one to enlist it, and press Identify to
see which is which.
Right-click a monitor there to split it into two screens side by
side or four in a grid, each with a mode of its own. It is still one
window: Esc, F11 and F act on the whole monitor. Another machine's
monitors and main window split the same way, from their boxes under
Other machines.
A window another machine is using closes the same way: Esc gives
it back, and Settings > Screens > Incoming stops the machine.
