Compare & pick the best photos
Pick the best of a set of photos
Choose the best photos from a selection, an album or a group of duplicates by comparing them side by side with Compare & pick. It needs at least two photos.
From a selection
Select the photos, right-click one of them and choose Compare & pick. The photos are laid out in the order the grid has them.
From an album
Right-click an album in the sidebar and choose Compare & pick… to compare every photo in it, including those in its sub-albums.
From the Duplicates view
Each duplicate group, or the selected groups, can be compared with Compare & pick on the Duplicates bar.
In a window of its own
Compare & pick in new window (and Compare & pick in new window… on an album) opens the same session in a separate window instead of over the grid. A long cull then leaves the main window free to use beside it. Everything else works the same, and confirming changes the library exactly as it would from the main window.
The screen
The header names what you are comparing and counts what is in play, removed and, once you lock any, locked. Beside the counts are the zoom control, Cancel and the confirm buttons. The photos fill the middle; along the bottom is the bench of photos waiting their turn.
