Exposure, colour and black and white
Fine-tune exposure, contrast, white balance and saturation, turn a scanned negative into a positive, or make a photo black and white with a sepia tone.
The Light, Colour and B&W tabs hold the individual sliders. Each slider has a button to revert your change.
Light
Exposure, Brightness, Contrast, Black point, White point and Fade, plus Invert, which turns a scanned negative into a positive.
Colour
Temperature, Tint, Saturation and Hue. Open Advanced for RGB gain, RGB lift and the Channel mixer.
B&W
Tick Monochrome to make the photo black and white. Then:
- Channel weights (R/G/B) decide how much each colour contributes to the grey — the way a coloured filter on a black-and-white camera would;
- Toning hue and Toning strength tint the grey, for sepia and similar looks.
The weights and toning only apply once Monochrome is on.
While Monochrome is on, the Colour tab says so: Temperature and Tint tone the grey instead of balancing colour, and Saturation and Hue are disabled because they would do nothing.
