Remove duplicate photos
Remove duplicate photos in one step — keep the best of each group and move the rest to the trash, with one Undo to reverse it — or compare them yourself.
A bar over the Duplicates view acts on the selected groups, or on the highlighted group when none is selected. It says what it will act on, for example 3 groups · 11 photos selected.
Keep best, trash rest
Keeps the suggested keeper of each group and moves every other photo in the group to the trash, all in one step that a single Undo reverses.
Compare & pick
Opens the photos of the targeted groups in Compare & pick, so you can choose the keepers yourself. Confirming with Keep N — trash M moves the photos you removed to the trash.
Not duplicates
Tells Portman2 the photos in the group are not duplicates of each other. The card disappears at once, and the verdict is remembered, so the next scan does not group them again.
Nothing is deleted outright
Both ways of resolving a group only move photos to the trash. They stay recoverable from the Trash view until it is emptied.
