Clean up files left after an import
After an import that empties a camera card, Portman2 offers to delete the files it left behind because the library already had them, so the card is left clean.
An import from one of your sources removes the files it imported from where they came from, and so does a Quick Import with Delete the original files after importing them ticked. Files it skipped because the library already had them are not — they are still sitting in their folder.
So, after such an import, when there are any, Portman2 asks once whether those should go too.
The question
The question gives the number of leftover files. Show them lists them by name, for when you want to check before answering, and Hide them folds the list away again.
- Delete N files (or Delete it, for one) removes them. Each is only deleted if a file in the library holds exactly the same contents.
- Leave them keeps them where they are.
Enter confirms and Esc leaves them. Saying no leaves nothing behind and is not remembered.
