Play a slideshow of your photos

Start a full-screen slideshow of an album, a selection or any view with Ctrl+Shift+S — and let a second monitor or the television play it too.

What it plays

From the grid, press Ctrl+Shift+S, or choose Slideshow on the photo menu. With several photos selected it plays the selection; otherwise it plays the whole view, starting at the photo you acted on.
Right-click an album in the sidebar and choose Slideshow… to play the whole album, including its sub-albums.

Keys

Space pauses and resumes.
← and → go to the previous and next slide, and start the interval again.
Esc stops the slideshow.
F11 toggles full screen.

The bar

Move the mouse to bring up the slideshow bar at the bottom of the screen. After two seconds without movement the bar and the mouse pointer go away again.

Videos

Videos play inline in the flat show, for their own length up to 30 seconds, and then the show moves on.

The end

With looping off, the show stops on End of the slideshow. Space plays it again from the start; Esc closes it.

The defaults a new slideshow starts with — seconds per image, transition, shuffle and loop — are under Appearance. The bar changes the same settings.
