Rename, duplicate or delete an album
Rename, duplicate or delete an album, play it as a slideshow or cull it with Compare & pick — all from the album's right-click menu in the sidebar.
Right-click an album in the sidebar for everything you can do with the album as a whole:
- Paste — adds the photos on the clipboard to this album. The row names how many it would add, and is greyed out when there are none.
- Slideshow… — plays the album, including its sub-albums.
- Compare & pick… — opens the whole album in Compare & pick; confirming takes the photos you dropped out of the album.
- Compare & pick in new window… — the same, in a window of its own.
- New sub-album…
- Rename…
- Duplicate (same photos)… — makes a new album beside this one holding the same photos. A photo is then simply in two albums; nothing is copied on disk.
- Duplicate for editing… — makes a new album holding a virtual copy of each photo, so the new album can be edited — made black and white, say — while the library's photos stay as they are.
- Delete album — asks first, and takes the sub-albums with it. The photos stay in the library.
The album's cover
Inside an album view, right-click a single photo and choose Set as album cover to make it the album's picture.
