Star your favourite photos
Star your favourite photos with one key and find them all again under Starred. Stars sync to your other computers and can be set from a phone.
Starred photos stay exactly where they are; the star is a mark on them.
Ways to star
- Hover a tile and click the star beside its selection circle. This stars or unstars that one photo only, even when a selection exists.
- Press
Sto star the selection, or the highlighted photo;Shift+Stakes the star off. - Choose Star or Unstar on the photo menu. The row says which way it will go: if any of the targeted photos is not starred, it stars them all.
- Drag photos onto Starred in the sidebar to star them.
- In the viewer, the star sits beside the selection circle in the top-right corner.
A star that is set always shows on the tile; an unstarred tile shows the hollow star only on hover or on the keyboard highlight.
Undo
Starring and unstarring show a notice with Undo, and Ctrl+Z undoes them too.
Filtering by star
The filter at the top of the window can narrow every grid to starred photos, or leave them out.
Stars sync with the library's other computers and can be set from a phone on the LAN pages.
